After we moved to Koh Samui in February 2023, my husband David began writing a book about our experience — part personal story, part practical guide for anyone thinking of relocating to Samui or Thailand. It includes tips on everything from buying property to everyday questions like “Can I drink the tap water?” or “Is the ice in my cocktail safe?” There’s also info on different areas of the island, what to expect, and how to avoid common pitfalls.
